Here to help you in planning your stay with us at Loch Tummel Inn are some answers to most frequently asked questions. If you do not see what you need here, just contact us.
Car parking
A resident’s car park is available at the Inn and is free of charge for residents of the Inn. The Inn owners accept no liability for any cars parked in the car park.
Car hire
We can arrange car, van and minibus hire from Perth and all major Scottish towns, cities and airports - contact us.
Laundry
We provide a next day in-house laundry service (excludes dry cleaning) - tariffs are displayed in the rooms.
Smoking
The Inn is totally non-smoking. Guests may smoke outside the Inn. Any guest smoking anywhere inside the Inn will be asked to leave and will be charged for the full amount of their booked stay.
Currency and credit cards accepted
We accept £ sterling, $ and Euro, travellers cheques (us$, sterling and Euros) for a 10% handling charge, Visa, Mastercard, Delta, Switch, Solo, Electron, JCB. All cheques require to be accompanied by a valid bank card. We are happy to arrange account facilities for corporate customers.
Medical and dental
24 local doctor/medical service available nearby. Dentist within 9 miles.
Pets
Well behaved dogs of any kind are welcome, subject to a nightly charge of £5. Can they please bring their own bedding. Dogs are not allowed in any of the public areas (except for guide dogs).
Disabled
Level access via the front door. Very easy access to bars and public rooms, and we have two lovely ground floor bedrooms.
Special diets
We cater for just about any special diets, but advance notice is preferred. Vegetarian options are available at all times in our lounges and restaurant.
Children and families
Children of all ages are welcome. Lovely family rooms are available. Charges, when sharing with parents:

Cots and high chairs are available. We do not have baby listening facilities.
Packed and picnic meals
Packed lunch menus are available - must be ordered by 21.00 the previous evening. Gourmet packed lunches with champagne, smoked salmon &c are also available.
What is and is not included in price
All quoted prices are inclusive of VAT at the ruling rate. There is no service charge. Gratuities are at the customers' discretion.
Check in and out
Earliest check in 15.00, or earlier by prior arrangement.
Latest check out - 11.00 or later by prior arrangement only where possible.

We can help you plan distillery visits, steam railway trips, castle visits and tours, themed day tours, cruises on Loch Rannoch, nature and heritage trails, guided walks and a host of outdoor activities on the local estates.
Valuables
Can be stored in our safe at reception.
Communications - email, fax, modem &c facilities
Our bedrooms do not have phones!!! A telephone is available for guests’ use at reception. You can send and receive faxes at a small charge. Internet access and email facilities are also available at reception. Mobile reception is generally very good.
Special occasions
Champagne , chocolates, flowers, roses, Madonna's piper, a serenade!! Many rooms have queen and king sized beds. Celebration cakes, gourmet packed lunches. Scottish, continental or champagne breakfast in bed by arrangement.
