Our lounges are really a highlight of the delightful country and relaxed ambience of the inn, we feel. Traditional lounges in most hotels and inns, especially modern ones are becoming a thing of the past – but -no open plan, A-plan or ‘any other plan’ lounge areas here. Two lovely smallish yet deceptively spacious self contained rooms, one on the ground floor, very intimate with a superb fireplace, loaded with good books, magazines and games, and allowing you to get away from the relative ‘vibrancy’ of the bar – and the other the veritable ‘room with a view’ – and what a view – from a large picture window running the whole length of this delightful room on the first floor.

Enjoy pre-dinner aperitifs, after dinner liqueurs and wonderful Scottish malts, table served if you prefer. Soak in a great book. Enjoy board and card games with and amongst friends.
