‘Al fresco’ enthusiasts are superbly well catered for here. The large beer garden overlooking the loch from a stunning elevated position is always open no matter the weather! Stunning views interspersed with magnificent trees, and a lovely viewpoint stone – with seating for 30-40 guests. And we – in the forlorn hope of more normal and Indian summers perhaps – will further develop this area and its attractiveness to make it a ‘must stop’ for passing travellers too. It will be our own little ‘Loch Tummel magnet’. Meals can be taken here too and it is ideal for families with children with good road sense - and dare we say it – smokers.

It that wasn‘t enough - our fabulous tree terrace, accessible both from the front of the hotel and from the Hayloft Restaurant on the first floor, with its ornamental pond and lined with glorious shrubs - spectacular in full bloom in summer – does everything the beer garden can do – but adds the extra dimension of pre-dinner drinks by sunset in this gorgeous scenic area.
